How I do apply for a job with Nutrien Ag Solutions?

The best way is to submit your resume (or CV) online in response to one of our advertised positions. When you have completed the online application process, one of our Talent Attraction Business Partner will review your application. Make sure you enter all your details correctly so we can contact you.

How long does the recruitment process usually take from the time I apply?

At Nutrien our goal is to engage with you as soon as possible, but as we are often working through a number of exciting roles and review all applications very carefully, we kindly ask for your patience. To ensure our Talent Business Partners have all the information they need from you to keep this process smooth, you can double check your application by checking your candidate profile.

As an applicant, what can I expectation from the selection Process?

All candidates are reviewed without bias and will be fairly assessed against the role and its criteria without discrimination. As part of the process, you may undergo a number of different processes including:

  • Online application (CV, and for some roles, this may include a cover letter and academic transcript)
  • Telephone screening/pre-interview assessment
  • Virtual (Microsoft Teams) or Face to Face interview which may involve behavioural based questions
  • Psychometric testing
  • Due diligence checks including background checks & police checks (for select roles), COVID-19 vaccination status, medical assessments (for select roles), visa/Vevo checks, and reference checks
     

Am I required to have Covid -19 vaccination to work for Nutrien Ag Solutions?

Vaccination is required for all new hires joining Nutrien Ag Solutions. All new hires are required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 unless you have a medical exemption.

During the recruitment process, you will be required to provide proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status as part of your application for employment with Nutrien Ag Solutions.

What kind of support and feedback does Nutrien Ag Solutions offer throughout the recruitment process?

If your initial application progresses to a telephone screening, you will be provided with written feedback on your performance.

If you progress to a virtual or face to face interview with the hiring manager, you will receive phone updates outlining the process or outcome.

Any applicants that are unfortunately not progressed beyond the initial stages of submitting a CV, will receive a written update on the outcome of their application at the conclusion of the recruitment process.

If I’m unsuccessful this time, can I re- apply?

Can I email my application directly to the Talent Attraction Team?

Whilst we would love to speak directly with all job seekers, all applications must be made online via our careers page so we can keep a record of your application and assess your skills and experience accurately against the job requirements.

Do I need to include a cover letter with my application?

You need only submit a cover letter with your application if the job advertisement specifically requests it. Always ensure you have thoroughly checked the application requirements in the job advertisement, and if it is required, triple check you have properly attached the file to your application.

Tip: if you are applying for a graduate role, a cover letter along with your academic transcript is a compulsory requirement of your application.

Can I apply for more than one job at a time?

Yes, you may apply for multiple opportunities that you feel are a match to your skills, experience and/or qualifications.

What is a job alert?

A job alert is an automated email that you will receive when a new role is advertised on our careers page. In order to receive job alerts, you must log into your candidate profile and register for these alerts. Job alerts can be customised to match your preferences such as location and you can receive these on a weekly or monthly basis. This is a great tool to ensure you never miss out on hearing about the great roles we are hiring for.

Yes! At Nutrien Ag Solutions we offer a number of exciting opportunities for those looking to kick-start an exciting career in agriculture. Currently we offer a Graduate Agronomy program, Graduate Agribusiness program, Livestock Traineeship, and Irrigation Traineeship.
