Meet our Livestock trainee: Cody Benson

What's your background?  

I never grew up on a family farm, but I've always had a love for the land. After I finished school, I ended up going up to the Northern Territory and loving life up there and came back and wanted to work with stock. 

What do you love about your job? 

You just get so many opportunities and you meet so many new people, whether that's through your own branch and the clients around your work or going and meeting the Nutrien team around Australia.  

Why did you apply for the Livestock Trainee Program?

I want to develop my skills as much as I can. I also want to get as much networking with those around Australia as I possibly can by meeting new people and finding out what people do differently.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Love footy. I play AFL for the local Kingston club, the Saints. Hanging out with my mates, and I go and see family whenever I can back home.
