Emergency Trauma Training wraps up for 2023, more workshops announced for 2024

Protecting the physical and mental health and wellbeing of our farmers and communities is a priority for all of us at Nutrien.

This year, Nutrien proudly supported over 490 farmers, employees and community members to gain life-saving emergency trauma training skills and knowledge through Emergency Trauma Training workshops, delivered in partnership with CareFlight.

Forty-three individual branches, across all states and territories, hosted Emergency Trauma Training workshops in their communities, with 100% of participants acknowledging that the training improved their knowledge, skills and confidence when dealing with an emergency trauma situation.

The highlight of the workshops for many were the practical scenarios which participants take part in throughout the day.

Pip Webster, agronomist at Nutrien Ag Solutions Campbell Town, Tasmania, attended her local workshop alongside Nutrien customers and employees.

“The practical scenarios were good for hands on learners as they were realistic and well led with constructive knowledge provided by the educators,” said Pip.

“All of the educators had industry experience but were also fantastic and engaging in delivering the content in a way that was easy to understand.”

The next tour of Emergency Trauma Training will kick off in February, with nearly 70 branches hosting workshops across the country in 2024.

Workshops are free to attend for Nutrien customers, employees and community members. Limited places available so please contact the hosting branch manager if you or a Nutrien customer are interested in attending.
