Applications open for Nutrien's 2024 Agronomy, Agribusiness and Corporate Graduate Program

Applications are now open for the Nutrien Ag Solutions 2024 Agronomy, Agribusiness, and Corporate Business Graduate Program.

“Each year our graduate program is oversubscribed, attracting top talent from every corner of Australia. In fact, we were recently recognised by the Australian Association of Graduate Employers and Grad Australia as the number one graduate employer in Australia for careers in the environment and agriculture sector,” said Nutrien Ag Solutions.

Working in agriculture is exciting and fulfilling according to a young couple who are enjoying a successful career in the industry, Jade and Lewis Taylor.

Jade and Lewis met at while studying at the University of New England and married in 2022 on Jade’s grandparents farm in Dorrigo. They now both work at Nutrien’s branch located in Dorrigo, NSW.

“I love working outside with farmers to find the best outcome suited to them and their enterprise to make them more productive and profitable. I also enjoy working within a great network that gives me access to knowledge and resources at my fingertips,” said Jade Taylor, Agronomist.

“You don’t have to have a background in farming to work in the agriculture industry but as soon as you join, you’ll find you have a much greater understanding and appreciation for how our farmers feed and clothe the world, and that’s a pretty good reason to come to work each day.”

Lewis grew up in Sydney before moving to Armidale in northern NSW to finish his schooling and attend university. He now works as an Assistant Account Executive in Nutrien’s Insurance team.

“The ability to have a corporate job, in a regional setting in the ag industry is priceless. You don’t have to relocate to a major city to start your career in areas like finance or insurance, Nutrien has these opportunities in almost every town in Australia,” said Lewis.

“The opportunities to make a difference in my role are endless. Helping our farmer clients achieve security in their large-scale enterprises or their single car policy is a rewarding and diverse experience.”

Last year Nutrien welcomed almost 800 new people in roles right across the country.

“The race for talent is tight across all industries so we are focused on attracting a diverse workforce. Diversity in background, experience and ideas is how we can positively impact and support Australian farmers,” said Nutrien Ag Solutions. Nutrien Ag Solutions.
