Top ten finalists announced for the Queensland ALPA Young Auctioneers Competition

The top ten finalists have been announced for the Queensland ALPA Young Auctioneers Competition, following an annual training school in Rockhampton this week.

Nutrien Ag Solutions has two auctioneers through to the Queensland state finals:

Jake Robinson, Nutrien Livestock Dalby

Justin Rohde, Nutrien Livestock, Rockhampton

Nutrien Ag Solutions South Queensland Livestock Lead Colby Ede says Jake and Justin both impressed the judges.

“The ALPA Young Auctioneers Competition always attracts the best in the industry and is highly competitively, so Jake and Justin should be very proud of their efforts,” says Mr Ede.

“It’s a great opportunity for the next generation of auctioneers to develop their skills and meet others in the industry.”

“We are always looking for skilled and passionate people to join our team of livestock experts, and Justin and Jake are great representatives of the business and provide a lot of value to their clients across Queensland.”

“I wish them both all the best as they represent Nutrien Ag Solutions in the state competition – the future of the industry is in great hands,” says Mr Ede.

Sam Clarke (GDL Roma) and Cody Trost (GDL Blackall) have also been selected to compete in the state finals.

The ten finalists will compete at the state finals held at the Brisbane Exhibition (Ekka) in August this year.
