Nutrien auctioneers compete for a shot on the national stage

Five Nutrien agents will go head-to-head at the 2021 ALPA Victoria Young Auctioneers Competition next week.

Representing Nutrien Ag Solutions among the list of finalists in the 2021 ALPA Victoria Young Auctioneers Competition is;

  • Ned Balharrie, Nutrien Ag Solutions, Ballarat
  • Alister Bright, Nutrien Ag Solutions, Ararat
  • Ryan Carpenter, Nutrien Ag Solutions, Ballarat
  • Jack Ginnane, Nutrien Leongatha SGL, Leongatha
  • Joshua McDonald, Nutrien Ag Solutions, Warrnambool.

The competition was due to take place in September last year but was postponed due to Covid-19.

Nutrien Ag Solutions Managing Director Rob Clayton said the event will be a great showcase of the talent in the industry.

"To have five of the top nine young auctioneers in Victoria representing the Nutrien Ag Solutions business is a tangible example of our continued commitment to and investment in the future leaders of the livestock agency business,” said Mr Clayton.

“Ned, Alister, Ryan, Jack and Josh are all skilled professionals who take enormous pride in their role as an agent and deliver outstanding results for their clients.

“We are very proud of the efforts of all of our auctioneers, and I wish all the competitors the very best in this year’s event.”

Competitors will be judged on their diction, values, voice, manner, presence and unique style.

The competition action kicks off at 11:30am at the Victorian Livestock Exchange, Packenham and will be livestreamed at www.stockandland.com.au

The winner and runner up will represent Victoria at the 2022 ALPA National Young Auctioneers Competition in Sydney at the Royal Easter Show in April.
