Meet our Grad: Gibson Cansell, Agronomist, Gunnedah NSW
What's your background?
I grew up in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire, but always had a desire to become involved in agriculture - no matter what it was. My interest was fostered by my Grandfather whom I hope to make proud through my career.
What do you love about your job?
The best thing about being an agronomist is being outside and interacting with farmers to help them grow the best crops possible.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Gunnedah is a great community to live and work in. I play soccer in the local competition and spend every odd weekend helping my uncle manage my Grandfather’s farm.
