Asheigh Sanders

What's your connection to agriculture?

I grew up on my family farm in Werneth and always knew that I wanted to work in the agriculture industry. I joined Nutrien’s Agronomy Grad Program after studying at Longerenong College.

What's your favourite part of your job?

My favourite part of the job is getting to help farmers find the best outcome that allows them to be more profitable and more sustainable. The appreciation from farmers is always so genuine.

What advice do you have for graduates wanting to learn more about agribusiness?

Recently I joined the Birchip Cropping Group where I’ll be able to attend field days and information sessions to help further my knowledge and experience in the industry.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I am a very active person so outside of work I enjoy helping out my family back home on the farm, playing netball, fishing and training horses for barrel race events.
