Grow and Graze in WA

More than 50 people gathered in Northam, WA, to discuss gender equality in the agriculture industry.

Gender equality in agriculture was in the spotlight at an event organised by Nutrien Ag Solutions at the Muresk Institute in Northam, WA.

Held in partnership with FMC, the lunch session was attended by more than 50 people who heard from leaders in regional WA about their perspective on why the ag industry will benefit from deliberate actions aimed at attracting and supporting more women into the industry.

Nutrien Ag Solutions Managing Director Rob Clayton reiterated the company’s commitment to creating a workforce that reflects the diversity of our customers and communities. FMC Managing Director Kristina Hermanson demonstrated the great in-roads their company is already making in supporting women into agriculture and chemical manufacturing, and shared her unwavering passion for making opportunities for women to take up leadership opportunities.

Many thanks to our wonderful line-up of speakers who shared their experiences: Leonie Knipe (Dealer Principal, Toyota and Nissan Northam); Joanne Gilbert (Director, RSM Australia); and Julianne Hill (Regional Manager, Western Dairy).
