2025 Nutrien Supreme Sale and Campdraft grosses $5.5 million and smashes records

With quality breeding, careful preparation, and strong belief in the industry, the 2025 Nutrien Supreme Sale and Campdraft held in Toowoomba was another great success.

As final sales results are settled, the event has already set a new gross record of $5,500,136, record sale average of $17,405 and a clearance rate of 80%.  

There was good demand in the ridden section again this year with the mares producing a sale average of $26,724.14 and a clearance rate of 79.45% while the stallion average came in at $21,166.67 with 33.33% clearance rate.

Topping the ridden mare sale at $150,000 was lot 455, Petes Pet Squirrel, daughter of Seligman Spin. The exceptional six-year-old mare offered by Tamworth’s Koobah Performance Horses was secured by Ringers Western.  

Another outstanding six-year-old mare offered by Kylie Graham was secured by Hayley Knudsen. Kja Metallic Pink, a Metallic Cat daughter was purchased for $95,000.  

Meanwhile, the ridden geldings averaged $19,346.15 with a 78.31% clearance. Topping the geldings was six-year-old Skitchem Duck, presented by Synergy Performance Horses and purchased by Benalla Stud for $57,500.

The broodmares saw a sale average of $20,568.18 with a 68.75% clearance.  

Kempsey Quarter Horses offered the top priced broodmare, Sereness. This mare was by Acres Destiny and was purchased by Vohland Quarter Horses for $75,000.  

And topping the yearlings was Playmore Stock Horses, Playmore Dark n Stormy, by Acres Destiny and out of Derowie Serendipity. This filly was purchased by Amaroo Farm for $75,000 with the yearling fillies averaging $16,808, the colts $13,586 and the geldings $8,191.

The campdraft arena was also full of action across the three days, with strong competition in the Black Truck Sale Novice Campdraft, Shanahan Livestock Transport Open Campdraft, Riverina Stockfeeds Supreme 5-year-old and Under Campdraft and the Lemontree Feedlot Masters Campdraft.  

The 2025 Dalgety Rosevale 2-Year-Old Challenge was a standout, with Bellvue Special Loaded making a return after being purchased at the 2024 Nutrien Supreme Sale. Ridden by Michael Anderson, the pair claimed victory by just half a point, edging out Georgia Maben and Benalla Santangelo, who finished a close second with 191 points.
